The Claybusters know that in trap shooting, positive concentration
is the key to success and there will be times when you must regain your
focus at the snap of a finger. For instance if you miss a clay, you can
not afford the luxury of a negative thought. You must regain focus and
be instantly ready for the next shot. This type of focus is sometimes
referred to as "being in the zone". Relaxation is the key to
concentration and keeping you "in the zone". Relaxation is a skill that
gets better with practice. Just as with any sport, the more you
practice, the better you are. Therefore the more you listen to this CD,
the easier it will be for you to relax and improve your concentration. A
strong mental attitude is built in the same way physical strength is
gained... by repetition. Manipulating weights builds physical strength.
Manipulating thoughts builds mental strength. With practice, the
exercises on this CD will enable you to learn the art of relaxation and
concentration and therefore helping to keep you in the zone.

The best way to use this CD is when you
are in a quiet, comfortable place like your den or living room. Make
time so that you will not be interrupted
and can enjoy the experience from start to finish. DO NOT listen to
this CD while Driving a car or operating equipment!! These tapes are
designed to make you deeply relaxed and you may injure yourself or
others if they are not used carefully.
Here is what you will find on the CD:
Track #1 of this CD contains verbal
instructions about the use of the CD and a description of the contents.
Track
#2 can be used by itself. It is about
30 minutes long and is designed specifically for
improving your ability to focus and be in the zone while shooting trap
.
Track #3 is a shorter version of tract #2. This track is about 15 minutes long and has been designed to be used just before you are to be engaged in your
sport. You might want to listen to this while you are in your parked car ... just before
you shoot.
Relaxation is a skill that gets better with practice. Just as with any sport, the more you practice, the better you are. Therefore the more you listen to this
CD, the easier it will be for you to relax and improve your concentration.
